['vansɔvaː], Terézia, slowakische Schriftstellerin, * Zvolenská Slatina (bei Altsohl) 18. 4. 1857, ✝ Neusohl 10. 10. 1942; entstammte einer evangelischen Pfarrersfamilie; gab ab 1898 die erste slowakische Frauenzeitschrift »Dennica« heraus; schrieb Erzählungen und Romane, in denen sie in realistischer Kleinmalerei, zum Teil mit moralisierenden und sentimentalen Elementen, das dörfliche und kleinstädtische Leben in der Slowakei schilderte; behandelte auch Frauenschicksale (»Sirota Podhradských«, 1889); daneben biographische Prosa und Reisebeschreibungen.
